About me

I am an artist, songwriter, and producer from Oslo. My musical journey began when I was five years old, taking classical piano lessons and quickly developing a desire to improvise and create my own melodies. As a teenager, singing and songwriting became my main focus, and in recent years I have built on that foundation with six years of higher music education – an experience that has given me both a strong theoretical grounding and a practical toolkit to shape my own expression.

My music can best be described as eclectic, dreamy, and melancholic indie pop. I draw inspiration from my own experiences and fantasies, as well as moods found in film and art. My sound carries a distinctly philosophical and nostalgic quality – a blend of weight and sensitivity that makes the music feel meaningful and real. Artists like James Blake, Hozier, Tamino, Nothing But Thieves, and Tame Impala have all inspired me, but my voice and expression are ultimately my own.

Over the years, I’ve been part of many different projects - from bands and choirs to more electronic formats, and in 2018 I released an album as part of a duo. A wider audience got to know me through The Voice Norway 2024, where I reached the live shows and received significant attention. Still, it’s with my solo debut that I finally feel like I’ve found my true musical home: a place where vulnerability, darkness, and hope can exist side by side.

After years of exploring genres ranging from classical and musical theatre to pop, rock, jazz, and electronic music, I’ve come to a simple truth: music doesn’t need to fit into one box. My expression is eclectic yet recognizable, driven by the need to create something that feels honest and true to me. I don’t need to make something for everyone - only something I know I mean. And I believe that comes through.

The autumn of 2025 marks the beginning of a new chapter for me. My debut single Losing Colours is the first glimpse into a musical universe that will continue to grow with several singles throughout the fall, leading up to an EP in November. And this is only the beginning - there’s more music on the way, new projects, and maybe even a return to television in the year ahead.
